About the team:
We have a new opportunity to join our Group Modernisation leadership team as a **Product Owner, Domains**. This role will report to the Lead Product Owner and will support the maturity of the products team and overall delivery of an exciting five year programme. The purpose of this role is lead innovation across enterprise components, managing Servicing, Enterprise Document Management alongside Payments, Accounts, and Financial Crime Prevention, while ensuring alignment with other labs focused on Savings, Lending, Data, and Cloud technologies.

The role has the flexibility to be based from Wolverhampton or Chatham and will require regular travel to London.

What you will be doing:
As Product Owner, you will be responsible for delivery of OSB Group's product technology backlog/s through shaping to live implementation aligned to the overall product strategy as set by the lead PO. The Product Owner will play a key role in driving business growth by understanding customer and business needs and translating them into actionable product requirements. They will develop and own the product backlog and be responsible for and oversee the feature teams to drive optimisation of product feature delivery whilst minimising delivery effort.

Your responsibilities will include
- Understanding customer and market needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Defining, prioritising and ensure clear communication of requirements to deliver product features using EPICS and user stories
- Defining and deliver value to customers and the organisation to achieve business outcomes as defined by the lead PO
- Working closely with the organisation and SMEs to develop and execute the company’s desired product technology outcomes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technology, design, customer service and 2nd Line of Defence to ensure successful delivery of products and features

In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £70,000 - £90,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%

Could you be the one?:
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

- Previous experience in a Product Owner, Product Business Owner or similar role is essential
- Previous experience in the financial services industry within a technology setting with a strong understanding of the UK market and customer needs is essential
- Experience of Agile development methodologies is essential
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation is essential
