**About the role**
This is a unique opportunity for an individual to bring a forward thinking, strategic and operational approach to the development of our Talent and Succession Planning strategies.
You will be a critical enabler. As an active contributor you will support the design and lead in the delivery of frameworks, tools and processes that will support our leaders and managers with talent assessment and development planning in order to maximise the capability of all staff across the organisation.
Striving for excellence you will evaluate emerging themes from these activities to identify and implement continual improvement.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Working closely with the Talent Management lead supporting the development, pilot and rollout of varied talent strategies to address specific needs, such as the design and delivery of a succession planning framework, and the creation of wider talent programmes across UKRI
- Supporting and leading elements of the annual performance management cycle, working closely with colleagues across HR to ensure that line managers are trained, equipped and supported in a high quality and consistent way
- Manage a range of talent management projects, ensuring that all initiatives are prioritised and delivered with impact and pace, following recognised portfolio, programme and project management methods
