**We are looking for a Baggage Services Team Leader to join our team at London Gatwick on a Fulltime basis**

**You will supervise all baggage training and reconciliation activities on shift, to ensure Red Handling meets and exceeds the required standards of customer satisfaction, quality standards and health & safety standards as per agreed SLA’s with all customer airlines and any other relevant third parties and performing duties as per passenger services operation. To train staff in World Tracer as and when required. Flexibility to provide cover to the operation as and when required. You will be a key part in the Red Handling operation ensuring effective communication between all Departments.**

**Baggage Services Team Lead Requirements**:

- To supervise all activities within baggage tracing/reconciliation and liaising with the relevant customer airlines and passengers in a timely manner.
- Experience of supervising medium/large number of staff
- Experience of mentoring and/or training staff
- Sound knowledge of World Tracer and procedures essential.
- Supervise passengers claims in an efficient, timely and customer focused way in coordination with or support of the customer airlines policy.
- Supervise the handling of passengers and their baggage in relation to operational service delivery and delay recovery in case of flight disruptions.
- Exemplary customer service skills and professional attitude
- To ensure service level agreements are met to ensure the highest level of service is offered to our customer.
- Create a great place to work through recognition and communicating with the team by role modelling the company’s Ethos of employee value.
- Build and develop stakeholders’ relationship across the Airport.
- Complete shift handover and report, record, and incidents accidents deviations from the company standards into the companies reporting system before the end of shift

**Qualifications & Competencies**
- World Tracer knowledge is essential
- In possession of at least three GCSE’s / O Level or Leaving Cert (and equivalent)
- Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to speak and understand the English language
- Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be computer literate, willing to type and learn airline specific computer systems
- Passionate about customer service
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Self motivated and able to work independently and within a team.

**Salary**: From £14.02 per hour
