**Room Leader Position**

We have a great opportunity for a Room Leader to join our team. We are a busy setting with a passionate and strong team who are dedicated to delivering childcare excellence. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead the room. You will lead and support the team to develop and deliver childcare within a safe and caring environment.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- To work as room leader and as an example to others in implementing the EYFS.
- To lead and cascade effective planning whilst maintaining accurate and effective electronic records.
- To maintain current knowledge of developments, practice and thinking within the EYFS framework.
- To lead the continuous improvement & development of great practice.
- To provide a safe and stimulating environment.
- To ensure all relevant legislation and company policies and procedures are implemented at all times.
- To provide the highest standard of care and quality.
- To maintain discretion, confidentiality and maintain a professional approach at all times.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification (NNEB, Diploma NVQ3 or equivalent)
- Previous leadership experience is preferred
- A valid and enhanced DBS
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Understanding of children's development
- Good communication skills
- A passion and desire to go above and beyond
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Great team working skills
