**Requirements**:
**What you'll be doing**
- To be an effective, contributing member of the CHP Change Board and Senior Management Team (SMT).

**Leadership**
- Build a strong and effective customer focussed team of software specialists, and provide leadership that models CHP's values, motivates staff, promotes performance improvement.
- Manage the full software lifecycle including Software Development, Application Configuration, Application Support, Application Operations, Application adoption.
- Provide both strategic and tactical solutions that deliver the IT Strategy resulting in efficient, reliable and integrated solutions.
- Manage the agile delivery of CHP's software development, reporting, configuration activity.

**Business Management**
- Promote continuous review and improvement to ensure that CHP realises the full potential from IT developments and value for money from IT investments.

**What we are looking for**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification, preferably in a computing discipline or equivalent demonstrable prior learning.
- Agile practitioner.
- PRINCE2 or MSP practitioner.
- Experience of designing, managing and delivering complex IT projects.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Experience of working with suppliers to ensure value for money, business support and continuous improvement.
- Excellent business and technical leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage technical and business staff.
