**Key Support Worker**
- Shift work (shift will remain the same each week)
- Full Time - Immediate start
- Pay: £95.00-£105.00 per day

**Masterclass** are seeking an **enthusiastic and dedicated support worker**. You will be working alongside a resourceful team at their residential school, supporting students on a 1-1 basis who have severe and complex needs. We need someone with a passion for working with children who have SEN needs, and someone who wants to further their experience.

**The Role**:

- To support students within their learning and / or residential environments to promote each student’s intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development
- To promote a caring environment by providing a high standard of care including toileting, washing, bathing and mealtime assistance.
- To ensure that communication with students, staff and other departments is effective
- Contribute to the high standards of care and personal development for students within a learning and residential environment.
- To maintain high standards of safety and observe good practice in relation to health and safety issues.

**Must have**:

- Driving License
- A caring, patient nature
- Practical Moving & Handling certificate
- Friendly and nurturing qualities
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
