**Your Mission**:
As a Delivery Sponsor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, secure, and effective operation of nuclear and explosive safety-related projects. Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing conventional infrastructure projects within your delegated portfolio, ensuring they align with the Client’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- ** Safety Assurance**: Ensure that all nuclear and explosive safety-related projects support the safe, secure, and effective operation of current and future Naval Base outputs.
- ** ️ Infrastructure Oversight**: Manage the delivery of conventional infrastructure projects, providing integration support and advice to ensure successful outcomes.
- ** Project Management**: Oversee the delivery of identified projects tasked by the Client, ensuring programme coherence with other key stakeholders.
- ** Collaborative Approach**: Maintain a collaborative approach with Delivery Agents, Industry Partners, and their supply chains to ensure seamless project delivery.
- ** Stakeholder Interface**: Serve as the primary interface with internal and external stakeholders, representing the Client at meetings, working groups, and regulatory forums.
- ** Client Representation**: Attend Site Nuclear and Explosive Safety committees, authorization groups, working groups, and regulatory forums as the Client representative.
- **✉️ Communication**: Correspond with other Client departments, government agencies, private sector companies, consultants, and contractors to meet project objectives.
- ** Progress Reporting**: Provide regular progress and issue updates to relevant Client Boards.

**Profile**:
Essential Skills and Experience:

- ** APM (PMQ)**: Association for Project Management qualification.
- ** MSP Certification**: Managing Successful Programmes certification.
- ** Professional Membership**: Member of a recognized Project Management organization.
- ** Nuclear Awareness**: Completion of a Nuclear Awareness Brief.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- ** HNC Qualification**: Higher National Certificate or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline.
- ** APM (PMQ)**: Additional endorsement of project management expertise.
- ** ️ Nuclear Courses**: Completion of Nuclear Introductory Course (NIC) and Nuclear Site Safety Justification Course.
