**Job Purpose**:
Working within the wider Health and Safety team, providing administrative support to the wide-ranging cyclical servicing and maintenance programmes focussed on maintaining statutory compliance. To provide support by using the financial systems to efficiently record and administer budget information relevant to compliance activity. To consistently monitor that the allocated budgets remain within the approved spend limits, raise purchase orders, seek appropriate authorisations and track completions and payments through the finance system. Liaise with suppliers’ enquiries relating to servicing and maintenance activities.

**In Building Safety, you can make a real difference, the role of Statutory Compliance Officer will involve**:

- Maintaining budgetary monitoring within the financial systems
- Processing and recording purchase orders and invoices
- Taking receipt of documentation to convert the written recommendations into actions with appropriate schedule of rate items, costs and timescales provided.
- Manage follow up on active remedial actions and seek confirmation of current status from both in house and external suppliers
- Assurance that completed works and actions are accurately recorded on in house systems.

- AAT Certificate or previous experience.
- Experience in budget management processes and reporting budget position on a regular basis
