Warehouse Coordinator

Due to continued growth We are seeking to recruit two detail-oriented and proactive individuals to join our Post-Press Operations Warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently controlling the throughput of work-in-progress (WIP) within the Post-Press area.

**Main Purpose of Role**:
The main purpose of the job is to coordinate the workflow and throughput of work-in-progress (WIP) within the Post-Press area, ensuring precise allocation of pallets and goods to designated areas. This involves prompt relocation of items not in their correct positions.

The role also includes working in conjunction with the Post-Press Operations team and Packing Supervisors to assess work availability, subsequently ensuring the timely and organised delivery of work to the Packing lines. Additionally, the position involves overseeing the Overs area, co-ordinating with the Commercial teams to establish print despatch dates, and facilitating the destruction of print held beyond allocated timescales.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- **Despatch Operations** - Manage stock throughput in the Despatch area, ensuring efficient transfer to Kolorcraft Fulfilment with accurate allocation.
- **Waste Segregation** - Assist in waste segregation in alignment with Company Environmental Policies.
- **Pallet Management** - Obtain required pallets from WIP area and supply to Packing tables in a timely manner.
- **Outwork Requirements** - Identify, label, and forward any outwork requirements to the Despatch team.
- **Client Identification** - Ensure WIP pallets are identified by client and pack number for efficient location by the Finishing team.
- **Forklift Truck Operations** - Operate Forklift Trucks for unloading, distribution, and allocation of goods, as required.
- **Workflow Coordination** - Transport work from Cutting to Packing departments, ensuring clear walkways and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- **Stock Taking** - Assist in stock-taking procedures, including daily PI checks.
- **Transit Preparation** - Prepare pallets for transit, ensuring accuracy with control labels and delivery notes.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all department Managers and Supervisors.
- Knowledge of the print process and various finishing operations is advantageous.
- Forklift Truck Licence
- Computer Literate.
