**The Position**

Newly Weds® Foods Ltd is an incredibly successful food ingredients manufacturing business. We are currently seeking to recruit a **Raw Material Co-ordinator **to help support our rapidly expanding European business. Reporting into the Inventory Supervisor you will be based at our European Head Office in Ossett, West Yorkshire. The business is a real success story and the supply chain team consistently supports significant growth year on year.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analysing and Interpreting daily the Requirements report for Raw Materials and Packaging, placing the necessary Purchase Orders
- Maintaining EOQs/MOQS, Safety Stocks and not exceeding stock parameters and Warehouse Capacity
- Monitoring all Purchase Orders to ensure that Materials are delivered to agreed standards
- Maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders (suppliers, customer service, production colleagues) to resolve any problems and improve service levels and efficiency
- Liaising with key stakeholders on sourcing new materials
- Reviewing monthly agreed Safety Stock levels against Historical demand, identifying trends and amending systems accordingly
- Reviewing potential aged stock and work with Quality on Shelf life extensions
- Long term planning and management of Inbound containers of Raw Materials

**Person Specification**
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate & work with adaptable situations
- Ability to work under pressure individually and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working to fast moving, changing demands
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office
- Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn

**Hours of work**

This is a full-time position, working a basic 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm, although given the nature of the role, some flexibility may be required.
