To support our French business we are looking for a fluent French speaking individual who has a flair and interest in the numbers to join our accounts team, based in Bedford.

The role will be based in Bedford and require close co-ordination between all departments and a collaborative approach to problem solving to enhance the overall customer experience. You will be frequently expected to communicate with both our French and English stakeholders in a professional and consistent manner to resolve a variety of queries.

Key responsibilities:

- Understanding of finance systems logic and functionality
- Accurate postings of purchase invoices.
- Completion of supplier statement reconciliations using excel.
- Process weekly payment runs.
- New vendor set up / amendments are maintained in line with required data validation agreements and approvals.
- Able to resolve customer/supplier queries within agreed resolution times.
- Communicate fluently and professionally in French & English with our vendors/ customers.
- Have confidence and proactiveness to chase the progress of any query or complaint to gain a swift conclusion, working with other departments/external clients for action that will aid completion.
- Manage customer/supplier expectations through exceptional communication skills and provide an informed, professional service to all customers (internal and external).
- Working to deadlines and agreed targets.
- Highly energetic and self-motivated, ability to work as an individual and as a Team member.
- Use excel knowledge to improve processes where possible.
- Assisting with the implementation of any process or system changes
- Posting of all bank transactions and completion of bank reconciliations

- Fluent in French both written and oral - essential
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and confident communicator
- Highly numerate and a desire to progress in finance
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excited about being a part of a changing and evolving culture
