Saïd Business School is recruiting for an IT Officer 1st Line reporting to the IT Service Desk Team Leader 1st Line.

You will demonstrate an eagerness to learn new information technology skills and provide professional services when dealing with students, academic and administrative staff along with showing enthusiasm for enhancing timely delivery of support and services.

A consistent and conscientious manner in tracking outstanding work and keeping clients informed as to progress is a pre-requisite.

To be considered for this role you will need to have proven experience in 1st Line IT Support and broad range of technical experience and skills, along with technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows network, MAC OS, Microsoft Office 365, Sophos Anti-Virus.

It is important that you have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner and you will need to be able to discuss technical issues in clear non-technical language.

You will need to be able to prioritise conflicting demands and manage own workload and have a strong client-service “can do” approach, be patient to understand the client’s needs and be willing to work with them in the most effective way to resolve queries, multi-tasking as necessary.
