**Salary**: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

**About the role**

We are looking for someone to lead the Women Connect First charity who is passionate about helping and empowering Black and Minority Ethnic women in Cardiff and South East Wales and has a commitment to improving outcomes for them.

This is a rewarding role in a supportive working culture and suits a proactive person who will help us improve the delivery of our range of services.

Summary of responsibilities for our CEO Role
**The role holder will be**:
Through sound business planning, ensuring that the Charity has the human, material, and financial resources it needs to operate effectively.
Taking appropriate steps to protect the Charity from risk.
Seeing to it that the Charity fulfils its constitutional, regulatory, and legal obligations.
Ensuring that the Charity has the right management systems and structures to carry out its work effectively, accountably, and safely.
Working closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure that all the duties and responsibilities of the CEO's Office are efficiently and effectively fulfilled.

**What we're looking for in our CEO**

Applicants should have a demonstrable passion and experience for empowering women to deliver positive change. They need to be a confident and effective communicator with extensive experience of senior line management, able to steer strong characters and address difficult scenarios. They must be capable of leading the strategic and day to day management of organisational financial services with experience of human resources management.
The role will be ideal for you if you are naturally proactive, resilient, organised and capable of formulating strong reliable relationships and partnerships with service users, funders and stakeholders alike.
**What we can offer you**
