**About the Role**:
Our site in Carlisle employs around 1,200 people and produces a wide range of chilled ready meals for major retail customers.

It is a fast-paced environment and we’re now looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, you’ll be part of a busy, supportive HR team and your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the running of the weekly payroll system, ensuring all data is accurately inputted and processed on time.
- Monitoring and maintaining time and absence data
- Maintaining accurate records and undertaking payroll administration tasks in relation to new starters, absence, and other related matters.
- Advising managers and colleagues of any payroll related issues.
- Contributing to payroll related projects and supporting initiatives to improve staff wellbeing and engagement.

**About You**:

- Previous experience of working in a payroll position
- Highly organised, able to work accurately and hit strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, proficient using MS Office
- A team player, able to work well with others to meet business objectives
- Previous experience of working within a data entry role
- Experience of spreadsheets, formulas and how to manipulate data.
- Experience of TMS payroll system would be an advantage
