Join the 24-7 Prayer team
Based in our office in Woking, we are looking to recruit a full-time Events and Fundraising Officer to work alongside our Head of Events.
If you love organising, being a team player, are self-motivated and have a high level of initiative then this role is for you. We need a great communicator, who is target driven, relational, encouraging, and confident and with excellent computer literacy. You will love putting systems in place, be a quick learner and enjoy getting creative. You will have impeccable organisation and time management skills, prioritisation and the resilience and ability to work under pressure to sudden and tight deadlines. You’ll also be happy to work long hours at the events themselves, have a “can-do” attitude and be happy camping for a few days a year in the summer
This role can include an element of hybrid working; however, the post holder will be required at least two days a week at the offices in Woking.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Events**:
- Work with the Head of Events on all 24-7 related events, including Wildfires Festival, the International Gathering, Euro Leaders Gathering and Founders Day
- Learn the fine details of 24-7 Prayer events
- Supporting the Head of Events with logístical and administrative support. Including the creation of systems for volunteers, registrations and budgeting.
- Schedule and liaise with speakers and relevant stakeholders. Helping manage relationships and communicating with contractors, venues and team leaders.
- Attending meetings with the Head of Events to act as a second point of contact and point of contact while onsite at events, with a wide knowledge of how each event runs.
- Maintain documentation for each event
- Help set up and tear down events
**Fundraising**:
- Work with Head of Fundraising to deliver the budget that enables 24-7 Prayer activity across the world.
- Work with large volumes of data for segmentation and the creation of reports that give us an accurate picture of all donor activity.
- Undertake a data cleansing process to maximise all future fundraising
- Work with a small portfolio of Trusts and Foundations and, in time, mid-level donors to solicit donations.
- Contribute towards the thanking process of donors to ensure retention and financial growth for the long haul.
- Work with Head of Fundraising to deliver three fundraising appeals each year.
- Supporting Head of Fundraising with 24-7 Nation team’s requests and required inputs
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer literacy skills (including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Google Docs)
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Enthusiasm for events
- Ability to prioritize work
- To work efficiently with capacity
- Adaptable to changes in events, deadlines or plans
- Confident in their knowledge and ability
- Enthusiasm to learn quickly, ask questions and proactive in problem solving.
- Team player
**Desired**:
- Previous involvement in Wildfires and 24-7 Prayer
- Previous safeguarding experience
- Previous fundraising experience
**Additional Comments**:
The Postholder will be expected to maintain a living relationship with God and live consistently according to biblical principles.
Reasonable time will be given for retreat, prayer and personal spiritual development in liaison with your line manager.
