Procurement Co-ordinator

**About The Role**:
As a procurement coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating the procurement process within an organization. You'll work with various departments to ensure the procurement process runs smoothly, efficiently, and within budget.
**Key **Requirements**
- Researching, analysing, and providing comprehensive data on all areas of Procurement spend and procurement activity.
- Assisting with supplier engagement activity and gathering market information and/or data in order to draw out the trends, exceptions, and key messages.
- Maintaining databases and spreadsheets, manipulating large amounts of data, extracting, and exporting data, producing reports from internal system.
- Organising and co-ordinating meetings, supplier events, market engagement, surveys, and market research.
- Supporting Procurement manager on RFI/RFP and tender related work.
- Updating the contract tracker, uploading compliance documents, vendor onboarding.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, organised team player
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
- Other Procurement team tasks as and when required.
**Qualifications & Experience **required**
- The education and qualifications of a Procurement Officer might include the following: A Degree in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management,
- The relevant experience of a Procurement Officer might include working as a volunteer or Junior Procurement Officer
- Using purchasing software and Microsoft Office, liaising with prospective suppliers, and conducting negotiations.
- Proactive person, Team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and achievement focused
- Ability to use own initiative and be creative.
- Relevant IT and numeracy skills (including SQL, Word and Excel).
