The Organisation
Our client is a Christian faith-based international development organisation. They provide holistic care to orphaned and destitute children across the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Malawi, Sierra Leone and Uganda.

They are currently looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week.
The Benefits

The Role
As a Finance Officer, you will support financial and accounting processes across our client’s organisation.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, you will analyse implementing partner finance reporting and support our Grant Compliance Officers to resolve any issues arising.
You will provide international partners with training and consultancy support as well as encouraging them through times of prayer.
**Additionally, you will**:
- Oversee monthly granting processes, ensuring procedure is adhered to
- Support the annual budgeting process and assist in the communication of grant decisions
- Manage the completion of the Finance Standards of Service assessment
- Administer finances, including processing donations, gift aid and payments
- Represent our client - and in particular their Christian mission - to partners and at events, fundraisers and conferences
About You
**To be considered as a Finance Officer, you will need**:
- A completed or partially completed CAI, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification
- Experience in an accounting role
- Detailed knowledge of QuickBooks
- The ability to analyse data and statistics and review budgets and expenditure
