Transport Coordinator

We’re looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team at Wincanton at our brand new, state of the art, Scotland Gateway facility. You will have a critical role in ensuring that we deliver day to day service excellence to our clients.

**Day to Day**
- Reporting to the Transport Supervisor.
- To co-ordinate transport moves both domestically and internationally from the start to end process.
- To ensure all PODs for all transport are requested and are returned accordingly.
- An understanding of specific customer requirements.
- Collate and provide data to the Customer with their weekly transport costs.
- Prepare monthly KPI data for Customer period packs. Using the online booking and transport management systems.

- Experience working in a challenging customer service environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within a transport operation, with an ability to work on own initiative.
- Customer driven with an attention to detail are essential for this position
- The individual must have excellent time management skills with a positive team working attitude.
- The individual must have an enthusiastic, committed, flexible and can-do approach.
