**About the role**:
The role is a ‘flexible worker’ position, and therefore the Council offers the opportunity to work in an agile way to include home working. However, due to the nature of the post you will be required to different sites and premises throughout Powys.

- Highly flexible, ensuring the ability to respond to any incidents at short notice, whilst maintaining delivery on planned work.
- Support colleagues across different workstreams in Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board to achieve the best outcomes for residents of Powys.

**What you will do**:

- To work in collaboration with partners, particularly Powys Teaching Health Board respond to health protection threats, support sanctuary seekers, and to deliver health improvement/promotion projects in Powys.
- To undertake outreach and engagement work throughout Powys support access to services, and health equity.
- When required, and in accordance with agreed protocols, participate in responding to incidents in Powys (including testing and contract tracing), offering information, advice, and assistance, where appropriate escalating to the relevant professional.
- To use own initiative and judgement to prioritise competing demands and work effectively to specific timescales.
- To liaise with partner organisations and other departments within Powys County Council in order to ensure customer needs are met.
- To ensure accurate and timely record keeping and reporting, and to undertake wider administrative tasks where required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £27,803.00-£29,777.00 per year
