**Position Overview**

Avantor Services provides laboratory solutions to leading businesses in the life science industry.

We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Operative to join our lab and production operations team at our AstraZeneca site on a Permanent basis.

You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks in a highly regulated laboratory environment.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work as you'll be completing a variety of cleaning tasks to a high level of accuracy.

**Location**:AstraZeneca, Renaissance Way, Speke, Liverpool L24 9JW

**Working hours: (**3-week rotating shift pattern)

Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 6am - 5pm, 6am
- 3pm, weekend (6am - 11am)

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- _Cleaning of laboratory equipment and laboratories
- Collecting deliveries / Putting stock away
- Pipette checks, pipette collection management, Balance Checks, BAS Checks
- QC laundry, Lab coat management
- Equipment preventative maintenance and performance checks
- Inventory/ stock checks, Waste management and removal
- Reagent and chemical management
- Contribute to QC 5S initiative and continuous improvement program
- Preparing equipment for calibration (cleaning and packaging)

**Experience Required**
- Proven excellent customer focus and ability to work collaboratively
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, excellent time management and a clear attention to detail
- A good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members
- To be flexible with working hours when required in order to deliver the service required to our customers
- Experience using a computer and Microsoft excel and word
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a proven excellence in customer service and ability to work collaboratively
- High level of commitment to the success of improvement projects
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
