This is an ideal position for an individual who is keen to be a part of a rapidly growing charity.

**We require a person who really wants to make a difference, who is an organised and determined solution finder. The Educatch Charity offers a range of educational activities all of which are targeted to support the most vulnerable children and young people within society.**

We provide one to one bespoke tuition programmes and EOTIS packages designed to improve the everyday life of children and young people at risk of losing out. We work with young people with a diverse range of needs, from the age of 5 to 25 who have been identified as being at risk of not achieving the educational goals set by their current learning provider. This includes concerns meeting EHCP or school targets, children at risk of exclusion or who are not attending school. We also work with young people who are currently or are at risk of becoming Looked After.

The curriculum we deliver is bespoke, tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every student.

Working in partnership with our Education Director and CAMHS therapist You will also be responsible for ensuring the tutors and Education advisers we recruit have the bespoke resources and curriculums they require for each and every young person we support.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Safer Recruitment and Onboarding**:

- Recruit high-calibre talent. Oversee the Safer Recruitment process, from job posting and interviewing to hiring. Develop and implement onboarding plans for new hires, ensuring a swift smooth and welcoming integration into the charity.
- Ensure all tutors have access to a bespoke curriculum designed to meet the EHCP targets of the young people they will support.

**Deployment**
- Ensuting all staff have a clear timetable.
- Manage oversight of who is doing what, where ,when.

**Collaboration** & **Employee Relations**
- High emotional intelligence and an understanding of SEN’s working closely with team members to understand specific job requirements and respond to these within deadlines.

**Safer Recruitment** **Administration**
- Screen and shortlist CVs and conduct initial interviews.
- Facilitate, accurately record and manage safer recruitment processes reflected in staff files
- Design a filing and retrieval system in order to retain past and current records.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or a teaching qualification.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a recruitment /management role, preferably within Education or SEN’s
- Knowledge of Safer Recruitment and HR best practices.
- Strong proficiency with recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS systems.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth understanding of Safer recruitment processes and regulations.
