Job Title: Head of Talent

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Talent to lead our talent acquisition and management efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare and technology, with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. Reporting directly to the CPO, the Head of Talent will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's culture and driving our talent strategy forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all functional areas, including engineering, product management, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to understand hiring needs and priorities, and align talent initiatives with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong employer branding and candidate experience to position my client as an employer of choice in the competitive healthcare and technology market.
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Implement best-in-class recruiting processes and tools to streamline hiring workflows and optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies, vendors, and partners to augment talent sourcing efforts as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and People Operations to design and implement talent management programs, including performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging best practices in talent acquisition and management, and incorporate insights into strategy development and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • HealthTech experience is a massive benefit
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a high-growth technology company or startup environment.
  • Deep expertise in full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, and candidate experience, with a proven track record of successfully filling critical roles across diverse functions and geographies.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with internal stakeholders, candidates, and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable talent initiatives and drive organizational change.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for healthcare and technology, with a genuine interest in driving innovation and making a positive impact on global healthcare delivery.
