We are looking to expand our HR & Training Department and now have a vacancy for a full time **HR & Training Co-ordinator based at our Head Office in Stockport**. This is an exciting position for a true generalist who is looking to develop their career. The role is extremely hands on and will allow your confident personality to shine through, together with being able to demonstrate from day one your existing knowledge of HR Best Practices and Employment Law.

Within this role, you will be the **day-to-day HR contact** for a number of the 7 depots and some of your main duties will be:

**On Boarding** - supporting depot management with inductions, ensuring completion of our inhouse e-learning programmes, and assisting with probationary review processes

**Employee Life Cycle Administration** - prepare, distribute and coordinate all aspects of employee administration throughout the employee life cycle, i.e. contract of employment, change forms, long service awards, leaver letters and reference requests.

**Supporting Formal HR Processes** - liaising with the HR Advisor to assist managers with employee relations matters such as absence management, flexible working requests, investigations.

**Assisting with rolling out and training** our in-house training programme - SHAPE and supporting with toolbox talk training

**Arrange all annual refresher training programmes** across the company i.e. forklift truck courses, first aid.

**Reporting & Auditing** - supporting with pulling reports (ad hoc & monthly/weekly reporting), and audits as required

Ensure that all HR files and documents are accurately maintained and compliant with Data Protection regulations.

Work in conjunction with the Payroll department to ensure our employee data on the Civica T&A/HR/Payroll system is correct and up to date.

Develop strong working relations across all sites, holding regular HR meetings
