The role is permanent with both full and part time hours available

**Primary Duties and areas of responsibility**:
**The cardiographer will be expected to**:
Undertake the recording of 12 lead ECGs on a broad range of patients.

Perform Spirometry on a broad range of patients.

Use Solus to attend patients and upload clinical reports to the correct patient file.

Download and retrieve ambulatory blood pressure reports and overnight oximetry reports.

Remove and clean ambulatory devices.

Prepare/chaperone patients for complex investigations, including fetching/returning patients to wards when portering services are unavailable.

Bring to the attention of appropriate medical staff, ward managers, or senior grades of cardiac physiologist abnormal findings on ECG recordings.

Support students on clinical placement.

Adhere to trust and departmental protocols and guidelines at all times

Be expected to maintain a safe working environment at all times

Be expected to maintain levels of cleanliness in the departmental clinical areas, carry out the routine cleaning and care of diagnostic equipment e.g. changing faulty leads, and monitor stock levels of consumables

Ensure confidentiality of patients and trust documentation and information.

Comply with Trust and departmental policies and procedures for information governance

Any other duties as required and appropriate to the level of this post.
