**Job Tile**: Office Administrator (BD Department)

**Duration**: The post is a permanent part-time position (3 days/21 hours per week).

**Salary**: Salary range is £13,529 - £14,929 (based on 3 days per week). This is a six-point salary scale, with progression opportunities occurring each April.

**Pension**: 6% Employee & 6% Employer contributions.

**Location**: Belfast

**Hours of Work**: 3 days per week - 21 hours per week (exclusive of lunch breaks). Days of work will be **Tues/Wed/Thurs **or**Wed/Thurs/Fri.**

**Holidays**: Entitlement is 39 days each year inclusive of statutory and public holidays rising to 44 days after 5 years' service.

Our client based in Belfast are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their Business Development Team as Office Administrator. The Business Development Administrator will be responsible for providing support in relation to administrative activities for the Business Development team in relation to qualification development, marketing and sales.

**Duties**
- Data entry onto management information systems/databases.
- Provide administrative support to the external verification process and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide administrative support to the preparation of exam papers.
- Ensure all data and information relating to areas of work are managed and maintained in line with data protection regulations (GDPR) and OCN NI protocol.
- Maintain all internal and external service standards to meet customer requirements.
- Provide general telephone advice and guidance to Centres including but not limited to;
- explaining the difference between regulated, non-regulated and national qualifications,
- policies and procedures,
- standardisation events,
- training events,
- Exam windows,
- Arrangements for external verification activities
- Attend and contribute to Compliance and Audit team meetings.
- Support colleagues in the use of relevant management information systems/databases.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues on compliance and audit procedures and centre status.
- Produce management information reports as required.
- Produce data reports for monthly compliance and audit team meetings.

**Requirements**:

- **Essential**:_
- Previous relevant work experience in a clerical/administrative office environment to include the following:

- Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
- Producing general correspondence
- Providing clerical/secretarial assistance in line with organisational procedures
- Dealing with customer queries
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word; Excel; Outlook)
- Ability to work across virtual teams, using a variety of multiple online tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, OneDrive and Sharepoint.

- Five years relevant work experience in a clerical/administrative office environment
- Proven customer relationship management
- Experience of working in an awarding body or examinations environment
