Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at our fish and chip at extra fish bar. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Cleaning at the end of the making sure the shop is left in a cleanly manner for opening tomorriw
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues
Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift trays of food or drinks.
