**The Role**

This role is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for managing a sales team who will support the business and our customers in line with our culture and values. You will be responsible for leading the team whilst delivering on the department strategy to achieve the business goals. You will take a proactive approach to day-to-day challenges that impact the business and work in collaboration with key stakeholders. You will own the individual results of your team and be instrumental in implementing changes and ensuring Best Practice is followed. You will be responsible for coaching and development of the team whilst ensuring quality standards are met.

You will be responsible for delivering daily and weekly meetings and performance management of the team against their key KPI’s. By building great relationships with customers, your team will be responsible for making sure their property sale/search is always moving forward despite any challenges which may be presented to you. You will be a problem solver with the ability to make things happen and to lead and motivate a team. Your team will be responsible for customers from the point of commitment right through to their moving day.

**In this role you will**:

- Provide clear leadership and manage a team of office-based sales team members
- Drive department strategy in line with business goals
- Manage department to deliver against KPI’s including all sales targets
- Weekly pipeline reviews conducted to ensure your team are effectively managing customer expectations, including communication standards
- Ensure that Quality Assurance and compliance standards are exceeded across your teams through coaching, effective feedback and reporting on trend analysis
- Interrogate data at an individual and team level to identify and evaluate changes and/or training required to ensure we deliver the company targets, whilst maintaining the best customer experience
- Identify and implement process improvements within the department
- Manage and optimise workflow
- Understand customer goals and develop specific solutions to suit their needs
- Coaching the team on a 1-2-1, in the moment basis or via the review of your teams customer interactions over the telephone or video
- Performance management of any members of the team who requires additional support
- Develop and upskill your people including succession planning
- Lead daily and weekly meetings in person
- Communicate updates with stakeholders at all levels
- Provide daily and weekly reporting to share the performance levels of your team the individuals within the team
- Work closely with other key stakeholders including Team Leaders, Sales Manager(s) and Head of Sales
- Audit the company’s CRM to ensure all actions and SLA’s are met
- Steer the team to purchase the right property for both the company and the customer
**Experience and Qualifications**

The Sales Team Leaver will have (Essential):

- Sales Management experience
- Line Manager experience
- Customer service and customer care experience

The Sales Team Leader will ideally have (not essential):

- Continuous improvement experience

This role is a full-time, permanent role and is based in our offices in Worthing, West Sussex.

The basic salary is £32,000 per annum and an opportunity to earn £8,000 per annum in commission. OTE is £40,000.
