Byrnes MOT and repair centre is a growing and busy local garage, looking for an honest, hard-working individual who is trustworthy with great organisational skills. The Office Administrator will be required to support and manage the day to day running of the business, therefore this is varied role that will require some administration skills as well as accounts support.

**Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to) will include**:
Administration Duties
- Answer phones and book customers in accordingly
- Manage our mechanics work load via a diary system
- Supporting mechanics in the daily running of the garage
- Raising customer invoices and managing collections
- Handling customer payments
- Monitoring social media platforms
- Organising customer quotes and estimates

Accounts Administration Duties
- Manage paperwork, allocate payments, along with month end reconciliations.
- Ensuring that all invoices and credit notes are correctly logged in a timely manner
- Ensuring all supplier statements are reconciled to the purchase ledger
- Basic credit control, sending payment reminders and chasing late payments

**Skills**:

- Comfortable with the use of Sage
- Full UK Driving licence
- Basic computer skills
- Numerate
- Friendly manner
- Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and workload for yourself and the mechanics.

Experience
- Some knowledge and understanding of the motor trade is desired but not essential

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
