**About the role**
The Philanthropy Manager - Mid Value, is an exciting supporter focused position in the Fundraising Philanthropy Team. It is responsible for generating income and engagement from individuals giving between £1,000 and £30,000+ per annum and supports the Mid Valueteam to deliver six-figure income targets. The role is focused on the management and retention of a large pool of committed donors and uses data, insight and internal and external networks to identify new donors and support income growth.
Delivering engaging cultivation and stewardship opportunities for our supporters is at the heart of this role, at a critical time for dementia research and against the backdrop of a cost-of-living crisis securing the commitment of our donors is vital. Combiningtraditional individual giving practices with expert, personal, relationship management the Philanthropy Manager - Mid Value is uniquely placed to build much-valued and long-lasting relationships with our donors.
Critical to the role is the delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns to generate both income and engagement. It is responsible for working independently, with internal teams and external partners to deliver creative and inspiring donor propositions.In addition, through more 1-2-1 relationship management, the role holder will support the growth of our Philanthropy ‘Impact Research Fund’. A funding programme designed to maximise the supporter experience of some of our warmest and most committed donors.
This role works with a variety of teams across the organisation, collaborating with colleagues within Philanthropy and working closely with Individual Giving, Supporter Impact, Special Events, Reporting & Analysis, Operations, and Research & Influencing. Inaddition, the role is responsible for line-managing the Philanthropy Team Assistant and oversees the running of a number of important finance and reporting processes.
**This role is homebased but with regular travel to our central London office near Tower Hill expected for team ‘in days’, meetings and collaboration as required.**

To help deliver this we need a proactive, ambitious and self-motivated fundraising professional to join our Mid Value Team.- Experience soliciting financial support and building strong relationships.
- Experience in working with high value donors, developing engaging funding campaigns for a mass audience or have transferrable skills from within the sector.
- Experience and ability to work with a dynamic and collaborative team, working daily to build relationships with prospective and existing supporters to raise funds for all areas of Alzheimer’s Society’s work, from our research and campaigning through toour pioneering solution for people living with dementia, Dementia Connect.
- Be creative with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience working with insight and data to support your decision making.
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service and most importantly enjoy the daily interaction with supporters and colleagues alike.
