We are delighted to announce the launch of The Installation Assurance Authority Federation (The IAAF), as an industry federation aimed at supporting Small to Medium Enterprises operating across the Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Heating Footprint. This newly formed federation will represent the interests of installers and individuals, who will primarily deliver the Energy Efficiency Retrofit of the UK’s 29 million existing homes, as well as our public and private sector building stock. It will provide representation for the industry nationally and help to support and shape Government(s) policy, ensuring that practical standards can be consistently delivered, to high quality.

The new federation will build upon the work and membership of the existing Installation Assurance Authority, to provide both an inclusive support environment for existing and newly incorporated organisations and a clear focal point for the Governments of England, Scotland and Wales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develops a narrative that articulates the board's vision and values in practice and shapes the organisation's ongoing development.
- Builds an open, transparent and effective relationship with the board and its committees.
- Builds an open. Transparent and effective relationship with Government(s), key stakeholders and like minded organisations
- Research and review policy initiatives across all nations and be instrumental in their impact analysis on SMEs within the sector. Help to shape future policy and act as the trusted conscience of Government(s) to provide practical input and consolidate views of the industry directly and via stakeholder groups.
- Working with the IAAF Board develop a business strategy that better supports SME members and focusses upon:

- Effective Policy and Procurement initiatives withing Government, Local Authorities and Private Funding streams
- Help grow business understanding, promote a spirit of entrepreneurism and help deliver a sustained and competent workforce
- Inform the development of training and technical programmes aimed at developing the industry in response to key policy levers
- Create business plans for achieving goals and objectives set in collaboration with the CEO, board and Group.
- Increase awareness of The IAAF by being a key spokesperson and liaison with external parties.
- Participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, and market brand, and develop strategic partnerships to further increase value to Membership companies including the Group annual conference and additional events.
- Engage with Membership companies and represent their views to external parties.
- Comply with all national and local regulations.

**Administration**:

- Carry out business and operational planning
- Maintain your diary to maximise productivity.
- Carry out research on the industry and the way forward to help inform strategy and process
- Comply with company policy and procedures

**Improvements and Change**:

- Follow all The IAAF Procedures and processes relevant to own role. Identify when changes and updates are required, raising these promptly with the Group CEO
- Lead and take responsibility for projects and making change happen, overcome barriers and ensure objectives are achieved
- Develop and write instructions and procedure when required.
- Support the business plan objectives for The IAAF to ensure targets are met and where possible exceeded
- Foster and develop relationships with new customers and ensure existing and potential customer client base needs are met, effectively monitored and account managed
- Liaise with the marketing department to ensure promotion opportunities are utilised and communicated effectively and contribute to the content and delivery of promotional literature as required

**Communication/Relationships**:

- Communicate and work closely with managers and colleagues, building a team which supports each other’s and IAAF Goals
- Keep up to date with new development and changes at IAA Federation
- Support IAAF and wider CIGA Group goals and business objectives

**Knowledge, Skills and experience**:

- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Qualified to level 5 or above in a relevant occupational area
- Possess good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with and relate to the spectrum of personnel in the industry
- Have good attention to detail, documentation and administrative skills
- Demonstrate good IT skills and ability to analyse data and prepare reports
- Possess the ability to work unsupervised
- Undertake Continuous Professional Development.
- Clean driving license

**Other Requirements**
- To undergo training and development in line with the needs of the business
- To assist with other duties within the scope and nature of position

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £49,000.00-£52,912.00 per year
