The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

**The Role**

As Head of Industrialisation at Safran Electrical & Power you will play a key role in the future of our products, being accountable for developing and delivering the sites industrialisation roadmap whilst aligning to the divisional strategy. You will hold direct managerial responsibility for new product industrialisation, paving the way for the future of aerospace and aviation technology. You will be responsible for defining capital expenditure requirements for operations, managing operational budgets and financial plans. You will lead a team of Industrialisation Engineers, ensuring the most efficient and robust practices are being developed and implemented. We are looking for a change agent that help develop both our processes, and grow and develop a team of technical people.
- Define progress and deliver the industrialisation roadmap, aligning to the divisional industrial strategy.
- Focus on taking appropriate actions to achieve and maintain a modernised and innovative approach to manufacturing both new and legacy products.
- Act as the focal point for the cross-activity of a team of both product and process focused engineers.
- Responsible for defining the capital expenditure requirements for operations, ensuring these requirements are prioritised.
- Direct managerial responsibility of a team of Industrialisation Engineers.
- Progress the development and implementation of the strategy to deliver robust and efficient practices across the site.
- Validate technical decisions and their industrial feasibility.

**Desirable Experience**
- Experience within engineering industrialisation and operational management
- Ability to convincingly influence requirements for production.
- Team management and well developed leadership & interpersonal skills.
- Supply Chain knowledge and experience
- Change management process experience
- Solid project management skills and experience.
- Broad understanding of financial information and experience managing financial plans.
- Tenacious approach to continuous improvement with the ability to implement tactical and strategic practices.
- Evidence of written English at interview stage.
