We are looking to offer an **Apprentice Plant Technician** the opportunity to join our expanding **Compliance and Service team** based in **Stevenage**.
This apprenticeship will last for 36 months and once completed you will have a Level 3 Land-Based Service qualification
Please see below hourly rates for the role based off age:
21 and over - £11.44 per hour
18 to 20 - £8.60 per hour
Under 18 - £6.40 per hour
**About the role**
You will be working alongside qualified and highly experienced members of staff, many of whom would have started their careers as an Apprentice just like you. You will have a dedicated mentor assigned who will help you maximize your potential by sharing your knowledge.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain recognised and accredited qualifications whilst you earn and gain a vast amount of experience within a highly respected company.
At the end of the 36 month programme, you will gain a level 3 Land Based Service apprenticeship as well as all the necessary experience and skills needed to excel within your role.

**As the Apprentice Plant Technician, you’ll get the opportunity to**:
- Carry out routine maintenance and service repair activities to our fleet of Plant vehicles & equipment
- Faults diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete work via a PDA device to ensure daily electronic work records are up to date
- Undertake minor and major repair works as directed
- Communicate with the workshop team
- Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions 'Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality'(SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to, adopting a safe method of working, logging and completing jobs on your electronic devices

**Apprenticeship Development Scheme**
- As an Apprentice within MGroup Services PFS, you will undertake both a technical programme as well as our internal EU Skills endorsed Apprenticeship Development Scheme (ADS) programme.
- The ADS programme is a blend of online and face to face sessions, involving soft skills development and mental health/pastoral care support. Some elements of the scheme are residential, which will take place in England; applicants must be prepared to travel and stay away from home as required
- The remainder of your time will be spent with our training provider or under supervision on site
- Whilst on your apprentice programme, your travel to and from the providers’ locations, hotel accommodation and all meals will be fully paid for
