**Job overview**:
**Are you an experienced recruiter ready for your next challenge? We are looking for a Medical Resourcing Specialist to support recruitment of our hard to recruit vacancies.**

As Medical Resourcing Specialist one of your key drivers will be the hiring manager experience as our doctors need a specialist recruiter to add value to the recruitment process.

**Main duties of the job**:
As a Medical Resourcing Specialist you will be required to provide resourcing support to the Medical Lead to ensure we continue provide a proactive resourcing service to each of the Care Organisations supporting them in reducing their medical vacancy rate and agency spend and enabling them to fill hard to recruit to roles.

You will work closely with the Medical Lead to understand the current medical vacancy position and advise and support managers in sourcing and recruiting to these roles. The use of campaign planning meetings will be essential to deliver new hires. Possessing exceptional communication and engagement skills, you will have exposure to a variety of medical stakeholders and a variety of approved agency suppliers, resilience is key.

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Significant recruitment experience, preferably in an NHS acute hospital setting or NHS organisation
- Good knowledge of recruitment and employment legislation
- Proficient with the Trac recruitment system
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills
- Good IT skills including word, spreadsheet packages and reporting
- Customer focused and results driven
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, negotiation and influencing skills
- Good organisational skills
- Able to multi-task, prioritise workload, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work without supervision and use own initiative
- Able to build and manage effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Able to work to targets, monitoring progress, identifying issues and taking steps to rectify any issues that arise
- Motivated to deliver a high-quality service, adhering to Trust values and goals

**Desirable criteria**:

- Medical Recruitment experience, preferably in an NHS acute hospital setting or NHS organisation
- Exposure to recruitment agencies and ways of working
- Willing to flexibly support the work of the wider Resourcing team as required
