We are currently recruiting for a Band 4 Finance Officer for the Southern Trust.

The post holder will assist with the administration of an efficient and effective Financial Services function to include Corporate Financial Accounting, Systems Administration, and General Ledger. This will include the day to day management of a team within the Financial Services Department in accordance with procedures and agreed standards.

The Officer will be responsible for the organisation and control of a block of work within said areas. He/she will provide clear leadership to the staff within his/her control, and cover in the absence of colleagues across a range of responsibilities as and when required. The post holder will contribute to the Trust’s overall corporate governance processes to ensure its compliance with public sector values and codes of conduct, operations and accountability.

Located in the Finance Department, Lurgan Hospital.

Working pattern is 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday 9-5pm.

Salary will be £12.25 per hour.

This is a temporary to ongoing contract.
- Must be an employee of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust
- HNC / HND or equivalent / higher qualification in a business/finance related field **AND** 1 years’ experience in a Finance role

**OR**
- 4 GCSEs at Grade A-C including English Language and Maths or equivalent / higher qualification **AND** 2 years’ experience in a Finance role

**OR**
- 3 years’ experience in a Finance role
- Experience in use of Microsoft Office Products including Works and Excel.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a care on appointment.
