**LGBTQ+ Development Manager - Housing (FTC)**

**The Organisation**
Nationally significant and focused on a fair and equal society, we are the LGBT Foundation, a charity supporting the needs of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans.
Serving over 40,000 people each and every year, we provide information to a further 200,000 individuals online, making us one of the most significant charities of our kind in the UK. We help all LGBT people to achieve their full potential and aim to be 'hereif you need us’, living by our hashtag #EqualityWins.
In partnership with Manchester City Council and a Community Steering Group led by LGBT Foundation, we are now developing an Extra Care scheme on Russell Road, Whalley Range. This is designed to be the UK’s first purpose built LGBT+ majority housing developmentexclusively for older people.

**The Role**
As the LGBTQ+ Development Manager, you will support the development of the LGBTQ+ Extra Care Scheme in Whalley Range.
Working with key stakeholders, you will project manage a variety of work areas, including the delivery of events, working with Manchester City Council, developing processes and policies for the scheme and attending project meetings.
You will also support the Pride in Ageing Accreditation Scheme across housing and care services in Manchester and work with the Chief Executive to support the development of new housing services and projects.
Additionally, you will:

- Deliver Terms of Reference and oversee work programmes
- Agree the co-ordination of communications and media releases
- Review findings from the accreditation scheme and make recommendations for expansion
**About You**
To be considered as an LGBTQ+ Development Manager, you will need:

- Project management experience
- Experience working with disadvantaged and marginalised communities and identifying their needs
- Experience of budget management across projects and/or organisations
- An understanding of accessibility needs and how they are factored into decision making
