**Are you a dedicated and compassionate Paramedic seeking a fulfilling role within a forward-thinking, innovative, and progressive GP Surgery?**

We have partnered with a well-established and large GP surgery in the Reading region, they have 4 sites, a patient list of approx. 30,000 and have been rated ‘Good’ by CQC. The practice team is made up of 4 GP partners, 10 salaried GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, advances nurse practitioners and physiotherapists to name a few. Their practice is high-achieving and innovative and have a strong ethos of teaching and training.

**Position Details**:

- **Job Title**: Paramedic Practitioner.
- **Job Type**: Full time/part-time hours available from Monday - Friday.
- **Location**: Bracknell, Berkshire
- **Salary**: £37,000 - £52,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including learning and development opportunities, as well as offering mentoring and educational support.

**About You**:

- HCPC registered paramedic.
- Post-registration clinical practice experience within primary or secondary care.
- Open to applicants straight from the emergency services who are looking to develop their career in primary care.
- Effective communication in complex situations, with good interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, problem-solving team player with integrity, and patient focus.

**Main Duties**:

- Provide first point of contact for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems (face to face in clinic and at home).
- Utilise history taking, physical examination, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills to establish a working diagnosis.
- Develop and communicate a management plan in partnership with patients.
- Recommend and explain appropriate diagnostic tests and treatment options to patients.
