- YOUR ROLEThis role is primarily responsible for the management & maintenance of the freight booking, booking optimisation and the customer collection, pickup and final mile delivery arrangement including onward forwarding requirements.- Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Manage and take responsibility for all customer bookings after job acceptance and creation.
- Act as internal and customer facing front end to all operational processes on active shipments.
- Perform booking optimisation both in line with quoted services and according to internal guidelines.
- Control and prepare all required import / export documents to counterparts.
- Oversee shipment status and identify and ensure resolution of active shipment incidents.
- Provide accurate costing of jobs in line with agreed tariffs & quotations.
