**The Role**

**Opportunity for a Banking Senior Associate 3 years PQE to join this high-quality Top 50 law firm at their City of London office (with plenty of flexible and hybrid working options)**:
This banking and finance department is **internationally recognised, o**perating from offices across the UK, the firm is expanding their ambitious team across all aspects of financing. They act for a broad range of debt funders and have positions on the general lending panels of nearly all the high street lenders. In addition, the team act for a wide spectrum of corporate borrowers in all of their key sectors in the investment and non investment grade spaces.

This leading Banking team punches considerably above its weight in all aspects of its banking practice with transaction values generally between** £20m and £500m.**

They have the capacity to deal with all instructions, from the** largest cross border syndicated transactions **through to** bilateral lending.**

**The work will involve**:

- Supporting partners develop their practices in
- corporate lending
- structured finance
- acquisition finance
- renewables/clean energy finance
- In particular, you would be supporting two new Partners in the London office who fairly recently joined from a Global full service law firm.

**As a Senior Associate in the Banking team, you will be given the opportunity to**:

- Manage your own broad caseload of banking matters, and support more senior team members with larger transactions using appropriate project and time management techniques to ensure the effective management of resource and achievement of results for TLT and our clients.
- Demonstrate an ability to secure new work within existing client relationships to develop the account.
- Participate in business development opportunities.
- Delegate tasks to other team members appropriate to their job role level and skill.
- Supervising the work delegated to other team members,
- Provide an excellent service to clients by working closely with colleagues from across the UK in both the Banking team and other specialisms;
- Support the Partners in business development matters and help to strengthen the relationships with new and existing clients.

**As the team continues to win more and work, you will have opportunities to progress within the practice and take on business development projects to enhance your presence in the market.**
