My client is recognised as a leading financing law firm and act for public and private corporates, financial institutions, sponsors, credit funds, governments and sovereigns. Their unique approach means that the Lawyers within the financing team advise on a wide variety of transactions which include:

  • Banking
  • Debt Capital Markets
  • Securitisation & Structured Finance
  • Infrastructure, Energy, and Natural Resources
  • Restructuring & Insolvency

The team is now looking for 2-4PQE Associate that is happy to do a broad mix of work, with a particular interest in those with structured finance experience.

The key responsibilities may include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and amending the legal and commercial aspects of all types of financing documentation – we want our associates to work on all elements of a transaction and not be limited to individual workstreams.
  • Advising on the financing elements of a range of corporate and commercial issues
  • Advising on investment grade lending, leveraged/acquisition lending, debt capital markets and associated derivatives work.
  • Developing professional relationships with clients and getting involved in business development initiatives and activities.
  • Managing/supervising the work of others, including other associates and trainees as required.
  • Being prepared to work on other types of financing arrangements advised on by the broader Financing Stream if client demands so require.

You are not expected to have experience across all of the above areas. A successful candidate would need to be interested in general banking and corporate treasury matters, and willing to develop a practice across a wider scope.
