**Position**:
**Operational Responsibilities**:

- Planning drivers and resources to meet work demands and achieve maximum key performance indicators
- Assigning drivers and maximising the utilization of vehicles on a daily basis
- Plan/organise all relevant customer deliveries & collections, ensuring delivery windows are achieved.
- Co-ordinating with depots and customers to agree delivery schedule
- Update the system in relation to each sales order i.e. deliveries & Returns and rebooking’s
- Updating and advising customers on the progress of the orders and advising on ETA of delivery
- Source local sub-contractors as and when required - holiday cover
- Ensure the Schedule, transport plan, routing system and any other work sheet is produced and sent out where required
- Manage the drivers run, ensuring you follow the correct driver’s hours legislation.
- Resolve Customer queries / complaints where applicable
- Fully understand agreed KPI’s for the transports department and strive to stay within these margins
- Any other transport office related duties as required

- You attend and participate in meetings and training sessions that may be necessary in the performance of your duties.
- You may be required to undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Experienced within a fast-paced route planning environment
- Previous HGV route experience (or similar - Fleet Management)
- Up to date knowledge of the latest transport regulations (Vehicles & Drivers)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
- SAP Experience

**Other information**:
**Salary: £28,000**

**Hours: 42.5hrs per week, 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday**

**Location: National Distribution Centre - Hucknall**
