The role of the IT Project Support Officer is to manage a professional, effective and efficient project and administrative support to the Information Technology Projects Team and the Head of IT Projects & Strategy and to all its users including patients, services, relatives and colleagues. The role of the IT Projects team is to successfully deliver IT projects and tasks to time, quality and within budget.

You will be an ambassador for the eHospital IT Projects team on a day to day basis to ensure its effective and efficient functioning as well as being a focal point of reference for all members of the department. This post will involve significant liaison with potential suppliers, clinicians and operational managers at CUH, as well as members of the project team and other internal and external stakeholders. You will work with the eHospital IT projects technical services and business teams to establish detailed work plans and be responsible for producing project status and financial reports.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing a professional, effective and efficient service to patients, relatives, colleagues and Trust Staff through effective management of self and team
- Administration Support to the IT Projects Team supporting the IT Project Managers with Bespoke Requests, maintaining the IT Sharepoint site and managing IT Projects in box
- Use a wide range of effective and timely communication skills acting independently to explain, analyse and interpret information/data.
- Nurture key relationships and maintain networks internally and externally, including third party suppliers and other hospitals and Trusts.
- Operate effectively in a flexible and demanding environment and proactively engage with NHS staff, consultants and contractors, technical partners and 3rd party vendors working on a variety of Infrastructure and IT topics.
