We have an exciting role within our Technical Department:
Technical Administrator
- To complete appropriate Internal and Customer specifications, and product specific data sets, on respective IT systems and documents, to the required standards, and within required timescales.
- To be primarily responsible for gathering accurate data required for specifications, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure specification progress is tracked and shared.
- To liaise with the appropriate Internal and Customer teams to ensure that specifications and other supporting documents, such as Quality Attribute (QAS) Sheets, and packaging specifications, are completed for all new products or redesigns.
- To own the process for creation of documents and production standards, ensuring this is repeatable, giving rise to quality information, at speed, and to meet the demands of customers and consumers.
- To work with New Product Development, Operations and Quality team through process trials, capturing key data points for analysis.
- To provide a flexible resource to the technical department for any other reasonable duties, export data processing, product and raw material testing, and customer complaint management, for example.
- To carry out any reasonable additional tasks as assigned by your manager.
- Ensure all production & quality records are completed & correct.
- Ensuring that health, safety and hygiene standards are not compromised.

Essential Skills:

- Manufacturing background, preferably within the Pet Food, Food or FMCG industries
- Constant drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation with ability to motivate others
- Committed, disciplined and well organised
- Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business
- Ability to work under pressure
