Allstaff have a great opportunity for multiple semi-skilled assembly operators to join a local company during a period of growth.

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:15 am - 4:15 pm; Friday: 7:15 am - 12:15 pm

Job Summary: We are seeking a Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative to join our client. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for performing various assembly tasks to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. Your primary duties will include assembling components, operating machinery, following work instructions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is a full-time position with consistent working hours from Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform assembly tasks as directed, including but not limited to: fitting, sorting, packing, labeling, and testing components.
- Operate assembly machinery and equipment with proper care and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards.
- Inspect components and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues during the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and tools after use.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in assembly or a similar production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and machinery is desirable.
- Ability to follow work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams accurately.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality to adhere to scheduled working hours.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads.
- Commitment to workplace safety guidelines and practices.
