Accounts Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator based in the Wilmslow area.
Working closely with the Finance Controller you will have the opportunity to make this role your own. We are seeking someone who thrives on organisation, attention to detail and is interested in accounting principles and general administration tasks.
This role will give you a broad remit and to get involved in all transactional accounting tasks.
**As an Accounts Administrator your duties will be;**
Managing and process the Sales and Purchase Ledgers for our two linked companies. Including posting payments and receipts to SAGE50 to enable timely month end reconciliations. To resolve queries and keep the ledgers correct and up to date.
Process and reconcile a high volume of employee monthly expense claims to payment status.
Manage various other expenditure to agents and bodies associated with our industry, some though web portals and other various payment methods.
Any other tasks deemed necessary as the role, team and business develops.
The successful Accounts Administrator will have the following skills;
- Must have Sales and purchase ledger process experience.
- Strong excel skills and good attention to detail.
- Highly organised and excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a small team.
- Experience of SAGE 50 would be desirable but not essential.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
