The Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology & Dynamics, and the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology & International Health and is looking for a Department Operations Administrator to work closely with the Department Manager’s and Head of Departments to support the work of these large and vibrant Departments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills and experience across a number of responsibilities in a wide-ranging role. In addition to providing administrative support in the areas of human resources, finance, procurement, the post-holder will help to ensure both Department records are kept and filed accurately and to maintain the Departments intranet and internet pages.

The ideal applicant will have proven administrative experience in an academic, or similar, environment and will be able to manage a busy workload to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, high level of IT skills (including Excel), excellent attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and permanent. The post is available immediately.
