In this role you will be responsible for supporting our Operational teams analysing volume forecasts, producing route plans and roster patterns to ensure capability is maintained in the most cost effective way without compromising service levels. You will be responsible for a weekly spend of more than £4 million & planning capacity for more than 6 million parcels each week.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Monitoring customers and depots trailer fill to ensure targets are met in terms of number of movements
- Consistently reviewing drivers shifts to ensure hours per route targets are met
- Liaising with the Network to ensure service standards are being met
- Liaising with CRM to ensure customers collections and service levels are at an acceptable standard

**Qualifications**
What we’re looking for;
- A good attitude with high level of self motivation
- Preferably educated to degree level
- You will be analytical, data focused, highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail
- Someone who is focused on reducing operational costs and create efficiencies
- You will be able to work as part of a team and build rapport with other departments
- You will have a strong working knowledge of Excel which is translatable to Google sheets
- Good problem solving skills
- A confident Communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability

**Additional Information**
This role will require you to work days, however our department does operate over 7 days so at busy times some flexibility will be required and you may be requested to work on a weekend - Mainly during the peak period which is November - December.

A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role
