Are you a skilled and experienced administrator looking for the chance to be pivotal in developing a new way of working?

In April 2024 new regulations are being introduced under Social Housing Regulation Act 2023. BCC will need to evidence compliance in several key areas one of those being domestic lifts in Bristol City Council’s owned and let properties.

Accessible Homes and TEC Hub is a multi-disciplinary team that supports people to remain independent in their home. The team is made up of Occupational Therapists, Surveyors, Caseworkers, Technicians and TEC Hub.

You will form part of the Caseworker group with a specialist role in managing the servicing and maintenance of the lifts installed in BCC properties.

The role is new so you will be responsible for improving existing processes and developing new ways of working to ensure compliance. This will include developing processes/procedures, working with a 3rd party contractor who deliver the work, also working with colleagues in the Landlord Service.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail to develop processes to ensure that performance can be tracked and reported on. Ensuring compliance of the servicing and maintenance of lifts in Bristol City Council owned and let properties.

You will be able to work from home or from the office.
