Monday-Friday £10.70 per hour

Saturday £11.24 per hour

Sunday £11.77 per hour

**What is the role?**

Guild Care provide a variety of day and respite services for families of children and adults with a learning disability or additional needs.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Bank Support Worker** to join our Learning Disability Services to cover sickness and holidays. You will provide support and befriending to children and adults with learning disabilities in order to improve health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and maximise independence.

You will work as part of a team to enable a small group of children and adults with learning disabilities, to participate in meaningful activities, outings, and events in a safe, stimulating and person-centred environment.

You must have experience of working with people with disabilities and be able to provide a high standard of personal care and practical assistance. You will have experience of communicating appropriately and effectively with a range of people including clients with learning disabilities, their parents/carers, and other professionals.
