You’ll need to be highly organised, effective at time management and have a can do attitude, with the ability to communicate with managers and employees at all levels and be able to advise on HR issues.

**Main responsibilities of our HR Advisor**:

- Build and maintain colleague and stakeholder relationships
- Providing support and advice to managers and employees on generalist HR issues including disciplinary & grievance, absence management, policies and procedures and performance management
- Coaching managers through HR processes to develop their knowledge and confidence in dealing with people queries
- Co-ordination of absence management policy including occupational health referrals, long term absence and capability meetings
- Collating and analysing data to provide meaningful reports for business leaders
- Supporting contractual changes across the business
- Conducting exit interviews to gain insight into reasons for leaving
- Supporting the wider HR Team with ad-hoc projects
- Supporting managers with note taking at high level disciplinary and grievance hearings
- HR administration including the maintenance of our HR database, Cascade
- Managing HR Mailboxes including written and verbal correspondence
- Processing new starters, leavers and changes
- Maintaining employee records
- Any other HR related tasks

**Requirements for HR Advisor**:

- Experience within a busy HR role or recent graduate in a relevant area of study
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards) or equivalent experience or keen to complete
- Ability to engage with employees and managers at all levels
- Good organisational skills
- Able to use own initiative and prioritise workload
- Strong IT skills including use of HR databases and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Great customer service
- Attention to detail

Salary £22,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience plus:
