Are you a committed and forward-thinking Merchandiser ready to take on extra responsibility across Menswear Merchandising and Branded Buying for our UK JACK & JONES retail stores? Then you are the one we are looking for in our position as Merchandiser & Branded Buying Responsible for JACK & JONES UK. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract (February 2023 -February 2024).

**THE TEAM**
You will be responsible for Merchandising & Buying in JACK & JONES Retail UK, working side by side with our UK Head of Retail, your international buying team in Denmark, and our committed and high energy UK head office team.

**THE ROLE**
- You will be responsible for maximising the performance of JACK & JONES UK Retail stores through effective stock management: sales and stock forecasting and product selection to meet our markets needs and grow sales.
- More specifically, your tasks will be:

- The retail stock strategy for the UK market, managing the full life cycle of the product, including; sales forecasting, range planning, product selection, visual merchandising strategy, weekly trade analysis, allocation and managing promotions.
- Ensuring the following KPIs: GM, stock covers and top line sales
- Work in close collaboration with the UK Head of Retail, analysing, reporting and building strategies on; product performance, stock position, and ‘open to buy’ forecast.
- Daily communication with the team in Denmark, the UK Area Management & Store Management.
- Business trips to Denmark and regular shop visits.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic and pro-active with the ability to work in a team and as an individual.
- Strong communication skills, working with cross-functions and colleagues internationally
- Experience within Merchandising, ideally at a Junior Merchandiser level
